These good people replaced everything except the fridge and oven. New cabinets from Ikea were assembled and installed on premises, and a custom vent hood cabinet was added to accomodate a high volume vent hood. We then added the backsplash, trim, paint and texture, updated plumbing and sink, and ducting.
Lakewood Make ready
This backsplash was only a portion of the comprehensive make-ready done on this home, but it is the most show worthy. These glass tiles with grey backing have a subtle depth in low light and a luster in direct light.
The gray glass tile backsplash complements the stainless fixtures and lets the wood colors come forth.
Matilda Make Ready
The sag in this counter top was the result of prolonged leaking under the sink that had rotted out the bottom of the cabinet. The lower shelf had also rotted out and there was mold in the drywall. To keep continuity with the rest of the cabinets, I removed this cabinet face and put it on a rebuilt carcass. Then, replacing the affected drywall and upgrading the sink, disposal and plumbing, this kitchen was ready for market.
