Steveson Remodeling was established in 2014 as a sole proprietorship. It is owned and operated by Steve(son) Orelup, who is presently the acting estimator, project manager, designer and foreman. We are always looking for craftsman to hire, and excited to cooperate with other contractors to expand our community.
Steve's Bio
I began my career in 1995 after receiving a BFA in Sculpture with a minor in Construction Methods from the University of North Texas. We were taught craft in an environment that was overflowing with every manner of hands on process, and I employed this knowledge between the fields of scenic art and carpentry over the next two decades. While sculpting for Dallas' scenic art shops, I spent several years working alongside, and then as a member of the Carpenter's Union. This carried over into set construction and then to managing display installations.
Over time, I realized I was more engaged with people in a construction capacity than I was as a scenic artist, and things progressed from there.
I'm proud of the work I did before establishing the remodel company, and I hope it speaks to values as well. So, feel free to look over the images of my early work.
